My  Work

Welcome to my gallery — a collection of handmade ceramic pieces created in my garden studio. Each work reflects a love of texture, form, and the quiet beauty of objects made by hand. From functional pottery to decorative pieces, every item is individually crafted, making each one unique. I hope this space offers a glimpse into my creative process and inspires a connection to the artistry of ceramics

Hare wall hanging

The hare is an expressive ceramic wall piece with elongated upright ears, a gently modeled head, and a rounded chest that flows into a tapered neck. Its form combines flat slab-built sections with hand-sculpted shaping, giving it both structure and softness. The surface is finished in a Smoke Grey stoneware glaze, creating subtle tonal variations of grey with cloudy, weathered highlights that accentuate the contours and texture of the piece

Wetherspoons commission 1

The pictures show a warmly lit interior wall decorated with a collection of glossy ceramic leaf plaques arranged as an art display. The leaves vary in size, shape, and colour, including greens, yellows, reds, blues, pinks, and earthy browns, giving the impression of seasonal foliage.

In the centre of the main arrangement are two ceramic strawberry clusters with bright red fruit and textured green leaves, adding a playful focal point among the leaves. Above them, a wall-mounted picture light casts a soft golden glow over the display, creating shadows that add depth

Ongoing project

A clay sculpted head is shown in a studio setting, mounted upright on a support. The face has a realistic yet stylized appearance, with wide open eyes, a long straight nose, slightly parted lips, and a thoughtful or startled expression. The head is angled slightly to one side, giving it a sense of movement and personality. The hair is smoothed back close to the scalp.

The neck is elongated and unfinished, with rougher clay texture compared to the smoother facial features. The sculpture is in progress, with visible tool marks and areas that still need refining.
